Daniel Grosu's research focuses on cloud and edge computing, parallel and distributed algorithms, graph algorithms, approximation algorithms, scheduling and load balancing, and topics at the border between computer science, game theory and economics. He is an IEEE Computer Society Distinguished Contributor. He serves as a Senior Associate Editor for ACM Computing Surveys and as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems, and IEEE Transactions on Cloud Computing. He is a Distinguished Member of the ACM, a senior member of the IEEE, and the IEEE Computer Society, a Fellow of the ICA, and a member of the CiE and the AAAS.
